Is Honesty The Best Policy?

Something that I have always felt quite strongly about is being honest. Now, as any Leeds escort can tell you, being honest does not always go hand in hand with being an escort.

I manage Angels4You – a unique and niche escort agency that covers Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool and Sheffield. I have a team of Leeds and Manchester escorts who all approach this honesty issue with different attitudes. This became apparent when I met up with my team-members in Manchester for a meal recently (I bet you would have liked to have been a fly on THAT particular wall!) A couple of my Manchester escorts were with long-term partners who knew all about their escort lives – indeed one of their partner’s actually drives his wife to and from the bookings. Liberal minded or what? (I am slightly jealous personally!) Other team-members keep their escort life to absolute secrecy though. For example one of my Leeds based team-members actually refused to meet up with all of the other Manchester escorts so I had to meet her separately by myself. She does not like her two lives to mix. Those of my team who keep their escorting secret are also in relationships and have to be very careful about how they cover up their tracks. What would you do?

I am going to reminisce here; when I was a Leeds escort operating out of a more traditional type of agency I tried to be honest with my friends and found it caused a lot of heart-ache. My girlfriends tried to ‘save me’ and my boyfriends tried to ....well I am sure you can guess! Because of this I, too, found that I had to be secretive. Having to lie repeatedly is very hard work. You definitely have to be very clever and have an excellent memory to be an accomplished liar. I slipped up a few times by telling the same people the same lie when I was asked ‘where are you going looking so well dressed?’ oops. So lying became second nature really.

More recently I decided to get involved with the dating scene. I met a man who I really liked. I was distraught though – just how do you tell the man you love that you not only escort but actually manage an escort agency? I eventually came clean and he exited my life pretty sharply...but not for long! After a week of mulling it over he gave me an ultimatum; stop escorting soon or he really will walk away. I did not want to lose him so I stopped. I am still with the man in question and I also still miss escorting.

So on to current affairs. There is manager role coming up at where I work during the day. I have to get a CV together which explains what managerial skills I have.  Is honesty the best policy here? What have I learnt from my past experiences? Do I tell the bosses about managing Angels4You? I am swaying towards yes. After all life is too short and you have to take risks in a career opportunity don’t you?

So when I come clean to the MD (another fly on the wall moment hey?) My proposed conversation goes something like this:  I am very proud of managing Angels4You as it is not your standard North West and North East escort agency.  To give you an indication of just how different I will tell you about the variety of people who approach us. I am constantly being approached by potential escorts from up and down England who want to be part of the team. London escorts, North West escorts and North East escorts contact me daily as they are attracted to our high-end escort agency status. Recently I was approached by a Lady in Pakistan who wanted to be a team-member! (I put her off as its death penalty over there for being an escort) We get approached by television companies and radio a fair amount too. I have actually been interviewed by the BBC Radio in the past, We have turned down the makers of a currently very popular London-based reality series who wanted to do a fly on the wall documentary with us (should have invited them to that meal!) the most recent proposition has come from a Sky channel who want to pick my brain about being an escort and holding a ‘normal’ relationship. I will basically explain the whole above. And obviously we have a massive client base of loyal returning businessmen who appreciate our elite Escort agency status and the fact that our team-members are second to none.

So what do you reckon? Will I get the job? I will keep you posted.

Escorting and Safety

Almost on a daily basis, Angels4You gets contacted by a person wishing to become an escort. The majority are young girls and are getting into it for all of the wrong reasons (but that’s another story.)

I want to talk about an email I got the other day from a potential escort based in Birmingham. She had approached us in a professional manner and had obviously done her research into Angels4You and its core values. She had also noticed that the safety of our team-members is paramount. She wanted to know if we would ever cover the Birmingham area. She didn’t realise that if we did cover Birmingham it would be her safety that would be in jeopardy. The reason being that I need to be able to hop in a car to any booking should one of my team-members require it and I simply would not be able to do this for any Birmingham based escorts.  

As an escort agency manager I find it very nerve racking at the best of times when looking after a booking. I am, in effect, blind to what is going on. Because I care, I feel like a cat on a hot-tin roof whilst I wait for the ‘it's over; I’m out text’ text from our team-members. I don’t stray far from my laptop while I am looking after a booking and I do not rest until I get the last ‘home safe’ text. Yes, you heard right - I wait up until my Leeds or Manchester escorts get back home safely. 

I will highlight the reasons for this important final text with a story that happened to the owner of Angels4You, Sue when she was looking after a Manchester booking. She did not receive the ‘home safe’ text and after a worried call from the missing Manchester escorts housemate stating that the said team-member hadn’t returned home, Sue decided to get in her car and drive to the location of the booking. On the way there she found an overturned car of the missing escort. The team-member had had an epileptic shock while driving and was in A&E. She was fine in the end but lost her driving license. Hopefully now you get the importance of this final text? 

I know when I operated out of my traditional Leeds based escort agency (not angels4You) that these safety checks were no-where near as closely followed. A few times the agency owner was massively drunk and other times there was no response at all when I had checked in. Not something that filled me full of confidence! I was aware that I was very much on my own. To combat this I always made sure a family member knew where I was when out escorting; I also made sure that the client knew this too. ‘Yeah my mum knows where I am, what I’m doing and your name – is that ok?’ the client would gulp and look sheepish and squeak ‘yeah.’ It was a necessary safety check that I had to do when operating out of that agency though. 

Last year I took on a Midlands escort from Stoke On Trent with the understanding that she knew the distances involved would mean a lot of travelling to and from bookings. At the time she assured me it would be fine and I pretended to myself that waiting up for 1.5 hrs after a booking would also be fine my end. For both of is it didn’t work out. 

Hopefully this highlights why Angels4You do not cover further afield than Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool and Sheffield.

Becoming An Escort For The Money – Right Or Wrong?

I came across an unsettling quote the other day;

‘An escort agency offers a virtually recession proof profit to the escorts and the agency owners’

This was a quote from a London escort agency’s website. I am surprised that other London escort agencies feel that it is ok to promote becoming an escort as a good career choice and an option for making lots of money – it goes against the grain for me. It highlights why Angels4You is so different; our team-members escort only for FUN not money. Why is this important? I will explain;

If you become a Leeds or Manchester escort primarily for the need to make money you are more likely to be used for your need by your escort agency and your client. You are less likely to say no. I can speak from experience here as monetary need was initially the reason I got into escorting, because of this I was used, exposed to dangerous situations and made to feel like a prostitute. I will give an example; at a traditional escort agency each week you have to give your hours – i.e. what nights you were available. I need to point out at this stage that a traditional type of Leeds escort agency will accept short notice bookings so when you have said you can work on a given night, if a client calls, you have a professional obligation to say yes to your agency and to go out and meet him. So many times I was in my pyjamas late at night and I would get a call from my Leeds escort agency owner asking me to go. I was made to feel bad if I turned the agency owner down. I was often out late at night for these bookings seeing drunk clients who had rung in last minute – factors that contribute to dangerous situations – trust me on that one. Once I got out to the booking, I felt obliged to the client to then go along with whatever he wanted. All of the above could have been different had I not been in it for the money. Instead of saying yes to the escort agency and client I would have been more comfortable saying no. I would not have been more susceptible to being made to feel guilty for turning the work down. I would not have felt used and like a prostitute, instead I would have been happier, safer, more relaxed and therefore more fun when I saw my clients. A happy Marie = a happy client so in the long run it all makes sense doing things the Angels4You way doesn’t it?

Our Angels4You team-members escort only for fun. I know this as they are all busy career women and are not strapped for cash. They are perfectly able to say to me, the manager of Angels4You, ‘No I would not be able to go to this booking’. I also do not make them feel guilty for this!

A word of advice to other escorts: please remember that being a Leeds or Manchester escort is a job. As an escort it is your time that is paid for NOT your body. You have the right to say no. Take a step back here; if your day-job boss asked you to do something that you didn’t want to – clean the toilets for example, would you? NO! So if your client asks you to do something you don’t want to do – what do you say?

Are You Really Getting An Elite, VIP Escort?

I am going to highlight some things that a client needs to be wary of when looking for Manchester escorts. When a Manchester escort agency advertises itself as supplying a VIP escort you need to be aware that your version of a VIP escort may be very different to a Manchester escort agencies’ version of a VIP escort. Recently in my research on the internet (it's never ending for us escort agency managers!) I came across an article all about how to recognise an elite VIP escort agency. Some of the criteria they had listed were laughable; E.g. do they have a limousine service? Do they offer a holiday service? If they do so then they must be the ‘cream of the crop’! It really set my teeth on edge - any idiot can organise a limo if they have the internet and a phone! I followed the link to the London escort agency attached to the article, where I found that they had a page dedicated to their ‘exclusive services’ i.e. limo and holiday booking options. I found it very hypocritical though that a London escort agency whom boasts of their elite VIP escorts being of ‘courtesan standard’ would offer their team-member’s services out for a half-hourly rate! What sort of message does that send out? What’s so elite about that can I ask? The words Prostitute and massage parlour spring to mind. 

Angels4You team-members would never dream of doing this. We offer a minimum 2 hour booking as anything shorter would simply not do our Manchester escorts justice. All of our team-members are business women escorts – i.e. they have busy daytime careers. We take pride in not escorting for money but for FUN. That way a client gets a professional escort who looks after you, is not an actress and who does not watch the clock. We are ‘class not crass’.

If you want a cheap female escort then please go elsewhere. There are plenty of other Leeds escort agencies out there who will readily supply you with a cheap escort. You will also be getting an actress, who is in it for the money, who is tired, overworked and who will be on her way to her next client after seeing you.
